Artist books and small historical publications

The name De Lamiis refers to a book written by Johannes Wier, who advocated against the witch hunts during the Age of Enlightenment. In 1563 he published the book De Praestigiis Daemonum et Incantatiponibus Ac Veneficiis (On the Illusions of the Demons and on Spells and Poisons) which was one of the first works rejecting the dominant work Malleus Maleficarum (The Hammer of Witches).

His work has been very influential in banishing the prosecutions for witchcraft. The publication of his second book De Lamiis Liber (Book on Witches) in 1577 made him loose his permit as a doctor in 1578.
